10 Things Money Can’t Buy
A good reminder for all, there are many things in life that money cannot buy.
I remember my father used to make up little sayings, and one of them was “Rich or poor, it’s good to have money.” Now it sounds almost like an oxymoron to me, but there is still much truth to it.
I find that as I get older, the importance of money is for healthcare and security. And if I had an abundance of it, all I would do with it is travel.

That’s a very inspiring list, Debby. And a great reminder that in spite of not having an abundance of money we are wealthy in so many ways. Just the fact that we don’t live in a country where there are bombs everyday or that we must walk miles for our water or that we watch our children die of starvation. We have much to be grateful for. Thanks for this post.

So true Carol. We tend to get caught up in things we wish for, forgetting sometimes, all that we have to be grateful for. 🙂

I have read the list and to those points I would add: a clear conscience and a good reputation.

Good add, and thanks Marian. 🙂

So very true Debby. It’s interesting to see people who have placed so much importance on money throughout their lives, begin to place less importance on it as they get older. Heath and security moves to the top of the list 🙂

Thanks for visiting and commenting Belinda. Yes, there is much that money can buy, and health is just not one of them. #Gratitude. 🙂

that list could be longer… 😉 sure, they all make sense – with one exception: some folks can buy “love”(sex!), “friends” and even “conscience”…

Money can not buy our health, and its not until we are unwell we realise what a gift good health is..

Thanks Sue. Health is the number priority; without it we couldn’t even think about a tops ten! <3

Great list of ten. Makes me wonder why money has become so important. On the other hand, I’m not scrambling to pay every bill. There was a time when my husband was in graduate school that all the food came from the garden and all the clothes were hand-me-downs. I was never happier.

Amen, Elaine. We fondly refer to those as the ‘good old days’ 🙂
