What a beautiful writing day. It was so inspiring to sit in my usual writing chair at my kitchen table with numerous books and notepads sprawled around me while looking out at Spring head-on, in full bloom.
The sun was shining through the open windows, bringing with it fresh breezes as I listened to the constant chirping of birds who also seemed so contently enjoying their day. I sit here everyday and write, and as I search for the perfect words to pen, I look to the newly blossoming trees for inspiration.
I’ve been keeping mental notes on the big maple tree in my backyard. Only a week ago it was barren of leaves. I watched it bud daily and find it so fascinating that within four days the tree is halfway in bloom with leaves. Truly one of God’s many miracles that may have gone un-noticed if I was not writing this book in my favourite chair.

I love your writing! I am with you in that kitchen! I think I love anyone I can connect to… who has wanted to write since they were a kid! I wish we all could meet once a week at a coffee shop or even once a month… all these writers we have come to know and just share with!!! I don’t think I’d ever get tired of those meetings! 😉

Hi Diane! Thanks for your always kind words. Yes, it is so inspiring to write while witnessing nature in full bloom. I am sorry I haven’t seen you around for awhile in forums. I have regimented myself strictly to write everyday and my reading and researching on self publishing seems to eat up whatever time I have left. I do manage to read my favourite bloggers, such as yourself and I hope to soon be posting some excerpts from my book when I do first revisions. I think you will enjoy them. Thanks for being so supportive! xo And yes, I sure do wish we could meet in the flesh, who knows perhaps one day we will!!!
