Know what readers are actually doing on your author website

reblogging

One of my favorite publications I subscribe to is Standout Books. This publication offers a wealth of information for writers from advice to great tools of the trade.

Today I’m sharing an in-depth post about tracking the stats on our websites, from visits to clicks of pages and more. Standout has many tools listed in this post that many of us will find helpful to our writing and to optimize our websites.

    1. Lol Marian. I know, sometimes I’m not sure where I am! I’ve just returned one day ago from vacation. I moved in two weeks before I left. I’m up to my ears in catch up and working on a blog but I had some great reblogs I had set up in draft. I thought I’d share this post until I get my own post together later in the week. I’m glad as always you enjoyed. ❤ 🙂

    1. Thanks Carol. There is a wealth of information in these publications I subscribe to. This post in particular is filled with great info which I too have to absorb, but when I find something new and interesting I like to share. 🙂 Wouldn’t it be great if we were sponges and it would all just soak in? 🙂

  1. I try to look regularly at what posts in my blog dashboard are getting the most clicks and then figure out top keywords… but I admit I don’t always write posts in line with that. Sometimes it depends on what I’m in the mood to write 🙂 I appreciate the share of that very useful post, Deb!

    1. Thanks Christy for reading. Me too! It’s hard to keep up with all the technology and obviously I can’t keep up with it all but I like to know about the options and always happy to pass along. 🙂
