I’ve been following Anne R Allen’s blog since before I published my first book. Anne write’s a weekly article geared towards current trends and information about publishing for writers. Many of her articles are geared towards new writers, offering up a wealth of great tips about the writing and publishing world. And as an added bonus, there are also added links at the bottom of her posts for writing contests, and tidbits of things of interest to writers.

    1. Thanks so much Diana. That was strange. They are working now. And they were working when I made the post. I always check my links so that was funky. But I know Anne has had some wonky stuff happening with her site lately, so maybe that had something to do with it.
      Nevertheless, I appreciate you letting me know and I’ve corrected them. It’s a great post, worth having a look at. 🙂

      3. Yes, I got in, but it took me to the “Pirating” post. Not a problem as I just scrolled down to the “Derail” post. Great info, by the way. Some things I hadn’t thought much about and helpful to see them spelled out. 🙂

      1. You put me Anne’s way a while ago Deb and yes, her blog is so helpful. I keep bookmarking her articles and trying to get to read them! Thank you for the reminder to look in her archives, the more I read on anything writing and publishing the better, especially when it is to do with memoir. Thank you!       2. Lol, our bookmarked files are worse than our TBR’s, but great to have for reference. If I may boggle your mind with one more helpful app, I would highly recommend using Evernote. Not sure if you already are, but Evernote is where I store all my important reference articles in one place. You just make headings for the folders you’re filing things under and you can click on them whenever you’re looking for an article quickly referring to a category. Again, the little Evernote stays on your toolbar so you have quick access, anywhere from any computer. 🙂

At the moment, everything is stored in ‘unsorted bookmarks’…need I say more? Thank you so much, you’re an angel!       4. Lol Sher, sorry to info dump, but sounds like you really need Evernote. All your files and bookmarks in one place so you can actually find them when you’re searching for something lol. Get it together my friend, you’ll be so happy you can find things again. You’re too sweet and too funny!
