Writer’s Links of Interest – Writing that Blurb and More!

Tips for Writers

Hello everyone! I’ve just returned (late Sunday night) from my wonderful vacation away for one month. I can’t wait to share some photos and stories with you all and I hope to have a post for you later this week about my  well needed getaway and some great photos to accompany them.  But for today’s post just to get myself back into blog land, I wanted to share 2 wonderful posts I came across on Facebook while I was away that I’m sure you authors in particular, will find enlightening.

Deborah Jay attended the 20BooksLondon conference and has shared a few posts on what she gleaned from that conference and based on some of the posts I’ve read from her, this is an event I’d love to attend. Below you will find a link to her post on ‘Writing the Blurb’, a great read for all authors.

Nicholas Rossis has a wonderfully informative share about turning your Facebook author page into a new sales funnel for your books.

  1. Welcome back, Deb! These are excellent shares. I don’t have a Goodreads tab on my FB author page. Searched high and low and can’t find it. Also, the Shop tab wants an address before you can proceed. I’d like to list my books and link to Amazon, but I’m not going to give FB my address. Have you found a way around this? Hope you’re maintaining a relaxed mode 🙂 Looking forward to your vacation posts, girlfriend. Hugs ❤

    1. Thanks bunches my sweet friend. I actually saved these links in draft when I found them while away. I’m going to further investigate the FB shop page later this week, and as always I will share my findings with you. ❤ Actually, Colleen has already set hers up so she's the authority on it. ❤ xxx

  3. Hey Deb I was thinking about you this morning and your book popped up on my Kindle so I reread the last three chapters. I just wanted to drop by and tell you you are still on my heart. Glad you sound as if you had a good time on your vacation! Going to go watch my baby to her stand-up comedy act in LA. Still working away on my dream. Writing consists of my card line right now. I try to work on my book but since I finished it maybe that’s good for now. Until I rip it all apart again Lol.
Well, can’t wait to hear about your vacation!
