For this edition of Writer’s Tips, I came across some informative reads for more free images, an interesting concept – newsletter swap, tips and tools for bloggers, themes for your blog that actually work with Gutenberg, getting paid for writing, and some great additional links for writers.   10. Very useful tips, Deb! As I work on my fitness book, I’m paying more attention to use of images. Of course I take most of my own, but I use Unsplash as my favorite for any image. I also use unsplash for using images on my lecture powerpoints, because once they appear on the web, digital copyright infringement may be an issue. Glad you included Hugh’s list of Gutenberg friendly themes, I missed that post.

    1. Thanks for adding to the conversation Ter. I know there are many image sites available, but to be honest, I basically always use Pixabay because there are no copyright issues at all and no attribution required too! There is an abundance to choose from there. 🙂 Hope you’re on the mend! 🙂 x

  19. Happy belated birthday!! As a non-fan of Gutenberg, I’m curious about the themes and how they operate. I love the idea of a newsletter swap. I wonder how that works…hmmm…thanks for the links!

    1. Thanks for the birthday wishes Kate. And I’m with you on Gutenberg. If you’re well versed in ‘backdoor’ WP, you can try out themes to see how they look. I personally, don’t touch that stuff, lol 🙂
