    1. Oh fab Sis, I remember when I was writing my first book and being overwhelmed with the ribbon and not having a full command of all that’s offered. Lots of trial and error, and following the Bookdesigner with his tips, and ultimately, my wonderful editor gave me a mini introduction to the ribbon. So I’m happy to share this with others who struggled. ❤

    1. So glad you’re finding these helpful Rob. File them for reference too. And you can always reblog or copy anything from the web by downloading the Press This tool in your WordPress, that’s what I use. You add it (in your tools) and an icon ‘press this’ will appear on your top bar so you can clip anything anytime. Now it doesn’t just reblog as usual. A draft box will open wherever your ‘pressing’ from and the link is inserted and kept in draft in your admin. Then you can edit and post when you’re read. 🙂 Hope that helps. I have written about this so you can check my search bar for it. 🙂

  14. Wonderful helpers. Thank you. I’m doing another thing some writers need to do. I’m taking a 2 month break from any big goals–no workshops, no talks, no submissions, nothing except a blog twice a month, my writing group each week, and volunteer work at hospice. Lots of resting, walking, and healing. Lots of reading, especially re-reading one of my teachers Marion Woodman. Lots of focus on learning to hear with a cochlear implant. I need deep rest and time and space to see what creative work comes next. I’ve had my foot on the gas since 2013. It’s vacation time!

    1. I’m so happy to hear this Elaine. I feel as though I’m ready too, yet feeling overwhelmed to get more out of the way before doing so. We all burnout at some point. Relax, enjoy and breathe. 🙂
