Greatest Holiday Commercial Ads to Touch Your Heart

This Christmas will be difficult for so many this year, and mine is no exception. I’m not going to write any fancy or bougie words here about how cozy and mushy this time of year is for me and for so many others, between loss, hurt and this damned Corona virus, but I do want to share these beautiful commercial ads I came across. These ads reach far beyond whatever they are selling; they all encompass the human spirit of love, kindness and empathy. If you need a reason to smile (even though a tissue needed will be a guarantee), please enjoy. Hallmark has some strong competition!

Wishing you all a happy holiday season and goodness and good health for the new year forward.

  1. Heart-warming commercials are fine but I found the Walter the Cat commercial, shared it with the family and now it is a household favourite even though we are a Ford family. Even if you don’t like cats, you might like this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHTi7PBJLnk

On another note, Merry Christmas. I hope you get to spend some holiday time with family or friends and some peaceful time alone to contemplate all life has to offer.

    1. Thanks for the good wishes Diane. Yes, I’m going to focus on my transforming time. 🙂 And great video. Thanks for sharing the link. It somehow reminded me of those great beer commercials at Superbowl time with the Clydesdale horses.

  2. Well, I just dried my eyes from watching the Chevrolet commercial (a friend had posted a link on Facebook). And here I’m crying again. Loved the other commercial as well. Thanks for sharing these, Debby. Thinking of you during this time. ❤

  3. These two are both well done. I’ve been seeing the top one on television recently. The first time I saw it, I said to myself, “What a great commercial! Someone is going to blog about this. About an hour later, I saw it on someone’s blog. The one on television is only thirty seconds from the original version. (commercials are expensive) It doesn’t’ have quite the same punch, but it still gets the point across.

  4. Hi Debby – I’ll enjoy coming back and watching these – but I loved your flower image and their messages … you just have a peaceful time and be well … with lots of thoughts – Hilary

  5. Lovely videos Debby, but I’m no fan of Christmas, as its over-mushy and over-commercialised. I hate the fact that everyone is supposed to be ‘merry and bright’. Over here there’s not much to be merry and bright about. You’ve got the right idea in getting away from it all in Mexico. x

    1. Thanks Stevie. I certainly understand your sentiment. As you know, I won’t be celebrating Christmas this year, but these videos shouldn’t be only regarded as Christmas videos, but reminders about kindness and empathy year-round. I only hope by next month’s end they don’t stop us from flying! xx

  6. Thanks for such great shares. I’ll have to pay more attention here, but I haven’t noticed any particularly moving. Keep safe, and don’t forget to look after yourself over the holidays. Big hugs!

  8. Don’t watch many commercials these days, what with fast forwarding through them from DirecTV. But these are good. My regular favorites are the Subaru ads with the dogs. Almost makes me want to buy one of their cars; too bad the nearest dealer is three hours away. There are couple free lance repair shops–so maybe next time.

  10. Beautiful videos, Debby. You’re right about the tissues. I hadn’t seen the Chevrolet ad before – it’s a real tear-jerker, just like the other one. Makeup ruined again. 💖🎄

  11. Hey, i am once again late! Sorry, Debby! What another celebrations, without real positive mood. Getting older had took away a lot of the festivity, now this virus did the rest. This videos are so wonderful. Lets hope humanity will not come only back in commercials. Best wishes for the start into the new years! Keep your ears stiff! 🙂 xx Michael
