You had me at free images, but the paid writing gigs one didn’t hurt either. Thank you–and happy birthday. You look amazing for someone who’s 114 (if we believe Facebook, anyway 😀 )

LOLOL, thanks so much Nicholas. I had me at the writing gigs too, lol! And thank you for the lovely compliment. I must write a book now on how to stay young even at 114 LOLOL. 🙂 x

Very useful tips, Deb! As I work on my fitness book, I’m paying more attention to use of images. Of course I take most of my own, but I use Unsplash as my favorite for any image. I also use unsplash for using images on my lecture powerpoints, because once they appear on the web, digital copyright infringement may be an issue. Glad you included Hugh’s list of Gutenberg friendly themes, I missed that post.

Thanks for adding to the conversation Ter. I know there are many image sites available, but to be honest, I basically always use Pixabay because there are no copyright issues at all and no attribution required too! There is an abundance to choose from there. 🙂 Hope you’re on the mend! 🙂 x
Stevie Turner

Happy belated birthday, Deb! Hope it was wonderful for you!
thanks for sharing these links. It’s always nice to discover more information and tips. Blogging is a whole animal aside from our book/manuscript writing.

Pleasure Lis. Yes, I can do without the animal part as my laptop is giving me such grief lately 🙁

Kate Johnston
Happy belated birthday!! As a non-fan of Gutenberg, I’m curious about the themes and how they operate. I love the idea of a newsletter swap. I wonder how that works…hmmm…thanks for the links!
dgkaye
Thanks for the birthday wishes Kate. And I’m with you on Gutenberg. If you’re well versed in ‘backdoor’ WP, you can try out themes to see how they look. I personally, don’t touch that stuff, lol 🙂
Michelle James
Great links, Debby. I’m bookmarking this post.
