A beautifully written book which stays with us long after it’s been read. Sander inspires us with her wisdoms about aging with grace – the hardships and the beauty. She delves into what many women begin to question about things and feelings that change as we age and how we become from our experiences.

Each chapter is followed by some inspirational quotes that we can go back to whenever we may feel the need for some uplifting.

Oh thanks so much Carol. And I’m always happy to pass on good books! I’m having another terrible technical day, but I should think my new book will be published on Wednesday. If I ever get myself sorted out, I’ll post it here too. <3

Debby, this was a very nice review! The best part was how to keep going back to find a quote or inspirational thought to help us keep on going, while meeting challenges and the obstacles of aging.

It sounds good. I seem to be mixing and matching fiction and non-fiction books these days but haven’t read a memoir for a while… Although I have a few on my list… Thanks for the recommendation, Debby!

Thanks to both of you, Debby and Dorothy. Congratulations, Dorothy. Getting a memoir out is a big, big deal and a huge focused effort. I haven’t explored yours yet, but I will–as soon as I’m finished with another set of visitors arriving tomorrow. Living alone doesn’t necessarily bring solitude, but I’ve had wonderful visits with dear friends. When I turn to the person right in front of me, the social media world is moved to the back burner..
