Sunday Book Review and Promo – #NewRelease – The Serpent Awakens by Luna Saint Claire

My Sunday Book Review and promotion today is for Luna Saint Claire’s new release – The Serpent Awakens. This is her second book to The Sleeping Serpent. This book could definitely be read as a standalone and is much more PG friendly than book one. The language and explicit erotica from book one is not in this book. I read Luna’s first book and if you’re curious to learn about Nico’s unflattering characteristics to get a scope of what he’s all about before Luna put out her new book and sent him off into a journey of self-discovery where we learn about Nico’s background and past and what made him become who he was, you can read my review for the first book HERE.

As Luna states: The genre is a metaphysical visionary fiction and a transformational coming of age story. This is Nico’s self-battle to find forgiveness for himself and his journey to get out of his own darkness into the light.

Blurb:

When Nico Romero, a celebrated yoga master in Los Angeles, barely survives an attack on his life, he returns to his hometown of Buenos Aires to assess the purpose of his life. He reconnects with family, friends, and a former lover only to find his homecoming is not what he expected.

Encouraged by his grandmother, he travels to Peru to find his spiritual teacher. Secrets from Nico’s past bump up against reality as he searches for meaning and belonging in a world beyond his control. His inner path becomes interlaced with his outer one, and a deepening understanding of existence and personal suffering unfolds amidst the beauty of the Andes.

A coming-of-age at any age story that touches on faith and the human experience.

A journey to meaning and belonging — A tribute to Siddhartha and The Odyssey.

A story of fierce struggle and longing that begins with an act of surrender.

Lyrical and meditative — The Serpent Awakens explores big ideas and universal truths.

My 5 Star Review:

Luna Saint Clair takes us back to her character Nico Romero – the narcissist who I loved to detest in the first book – The Sleeping Serpent. In this book, after abusing so many women with his domineering ways in book 1, Nico leaves Maya behind in L.A. to go back to his native Argentina after getting shot. And when he arrives home at his grandmother’s house, Nico’s life story begins to unfold as he begins to focus on his wounds from childhood and he tries to confront his demons.

Once home, Nico hooks up with a past girlfriend, Gaby (because he must have sex) who is tied up with her family in the drug business and he tries to get her out of it as he sets out to open a new yoga studio in Argentina and start over again after fleeing whoever tried to kill him in L.A.

Nico is very close with his grandmother, ‘Ita’ who is wise and is the one responsible for sending him to the U.S. when he was a young teen, to keep him out of the drug gangs at home. He went to live with his father in New York who was estranged from his mother. His Ita tells him he was born with a path in his spirit as she fills him in with stories of his spiritual ancestors, and reminds him he must go back to Q’ero in the Andes to finish learning his spiritual journey

Nico decides he must travel to the Andes and do some soul-searching in Machu Picchu in Peru. Once again he abandons Gaby, just another of a string of women he’s treated like crap for his own motives. Despite his handsome appearance, Nico has much to learn in life and despite that he lived in L.A. running his own yoga studio there, surrounded by celebrities, he had learned nothing about compassion or how to treat other people who genuinely cared about him. On his trip to Peru, the awakenings began to happen when he joins a trek tour to Machu Picchu with an actress named Camille and her TV crew. Nico learns there from Cami’s questioning of him that he is not the center of the universe and he cannot just dismiss people when he doesn’t get the praise he’s used to as Cami’s shared stories seem to open up many aha moments for him.

After the trek back from the climb, Cami decides to stay an extra few days at a spa to unwind from the trek and invites Nico to join her. On the first night they settle outside under the stars and decide to smoke some San Pedro cured by a specialist there.

Despite Nico’s spiritual practices, they don’t seem to quash his ego too much. He’s still a whiney little boy who gets angry when he doesn’t get his way, but is learning to hide his anger by keeping his moping to himself about how nobody loves him, his inability to get past his mother sending him to America (to basically save his life), and he can’t seem to shake his annoying habit of having to brag about things so he can feel better about himself, all the while subconsciously detesting who he is. A total narcissist.

After his night getting high with Cami, they sleep together, and Nico gets a shot of ‘the world doesn’t revolve around you’ by Cami, when she tells him she’s going to the forest and he asks to come with her and she tells him she wants to be alone. Nico has hopes that he and Cami will open a yoga center in Peru because they talked about it when they were high on San Pedro, and Nico needs a new beginning, but will Cami really give up her stardom in L.A. for tranquility in Peru – with Nico?

Cami takes off and Nico decides to go back to the travel agent Sabrina who got him on the trek with Cami’s crew. He asked her to get him to Q’ero so he can finish his journey with the paqo to reach his highest level of spirituality. She hooks him up with Manuel who agrees to take him where the holy place is and becomes his guide, and with his wisdom, he manages to strike something in Nico where he may actually learn goodness from Manuel. As they journey on together, Nico takes in a lot of wisdom from Manuel and the people they meet along the way. This is a very spiritual journey which the author crafts wonderfully. Nico takes in all the goodness, despite his giant, bruised ego still whining about all he lost and all he could have had. Do you think an egotistical narcissist can be changed? You will have to read to find out at the end of his spiritual journey.

Luna Sainte Claire is a beautiful writer. Her prose is almost lyrical with rich, deep descriptions that both draw us in to her stories and characters. Nico is a well written character – the guy I still love to hate, because I have a deep aversion to narcissists. And one would think it a paradox to be able to create such a character who is so complex in so many ways from his complicated childhood and his desire to become ‘famous’ because he craves people who will idolize him, yet, he is spiritual. How can one be both these polar opposites and become a kind, loving human being? Saint Claire manages to display his character expertly with all his idiosyncrasies, hangups, and ego, ultimately fighting himself to free himself from his own self-imposed grandiosity.

Signs – Suddenly, #Dragonflies

On my weekly visit to my husband’s (our) grave last week, I saw something I’d never seen before. Oh sure I’ve seen the odd dragonfly in my lifetime, but this time I saw five of them.

Whenever I visit my husband, I plant myself down on our grave to have a chat with him, or read to him. As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t actually feel him there as much as I do when at home, but there is usually always a sign he gives me that he hears me and knows I’m there. Every time I talk to him while there, a light, or sometimes gusty wind will blow. I know this is how he communicates with me while outside.

Once, when I had gone there to visit, shortly after his funeral and the snow had melted, I couldn’t find his grave. I drove over to the office so they could pinpoint it for me. I was all flustered in my already anxiety and still shocked state when I couldn’t find him, and when I finally did, I sat down on his holy ground and cried.

Another time I visited, it was a rather calm day weather-wise, but a huge wind picked up when I looked up at the sky, as though the wind was a messenger, letting me know, he knows I was there. After the visit when I got back into my car, I turned on the radio that had been off during the drive there. The channel switched to the 50s station on Sirius XM on its own – his favorite, and one that I never appreciated listening to. The song playing was Johnny Cash – I Walk the Line. My husband loved Johnny Cash. I stopped the car and from my tears, broke out in laughter and said out loud, “You little bugger, I know that was you.” And my heart felt at peace in that moment as I drove off.

I have experienced this wind or breeze many times in many different places outside when I speak out to him. I also find various feathers on my path when walking outside and various coins show up at home when I’m looking for something else . But last week was something different. As I cleaned up the dead flowers I’d laid there two weeks before, I looked up at the sky, and for a good ten to fifteen minutes, I watched in splendor, as five large dragonflies circled back and forth and round in circles way above my head. Their beautiful gossamer wings sparkled through the sunlight. It was mesmorizing. They kept flying, but never left my orbit. I’ve always been drawn to dragonfly symbols, knowing they have a magical connotation, but not knowing exactly what they represent. So of course, I had to look it up:

Most definitions will tell us that the dragonfly symbolizes spring, rebirth and renewal. And different countries around the world seem to have their own specific definitions. The Celts relate them to fairies, in Japan they represent transition from summer to winter, in China they represent good luck and love. In Vietnam they say dragonflies are weather predictors. But collectively, most people deem them a spiritual symbol of rebirth and transformation, not unlike the butterfly, that emerge from larvae and turns into something beautiful.

Dragonflies only live for a short time once they are transformed, signaling, life is short so live it up. With their near 360 degree vision, they see all around them, offering the ability to see beyond what any human can. Ultimately, all interpretations will tell us that when we see a dragonfly, it’s a reminder to break free, reinvent, transform into what we want to be, reminding there is beauty in freedom, and freedom is short-lived so live in the now. That is my interpretation from all the information I’ve taken in.

Seeing five of these beautiful creatures way above my head circling around for all those minutes felt like, once again, my Puppy was sending these messengers to let me know it’s okay to go forth and transform. I know this in my soul. I just feel stuck still in my heart.

One more sign: As I mentioned earlier, I believe my husband announces his presence to me through wind. Another day last week while at the pool, surrounded by nature, he greeted me with a very welcome breeze on a steaming hot summer day. I thanked him for the beautiful, much needed breeze, and asked him to let me know it’s really him communicating with wind by sending me a butterfly. An hour later a baby Monarch butterfly flew right onto my left arm close to my shoulder. I sat there for a few minutes while my heart felt joy as we communed together, knowing very well that my husband answered my call.

December Oracle Reading – Change is Coming!

My last reading for the year, once again touches on all aspects of my life. Interesting how by using two decks – Akashic Tarot and Keepers of the light, so many cards reiterate the same messages. Most cards that fell today, fell in the reversed position. Reversed cards don’t necessarily mean negative messages. For example, the death card scares many people, but most notably pertains to ‘a death of a situation’. Often times, the death card is a good omen because it portends that a situation that needs to end is coming. If the card is reversed, the situation may linger.

I set up my altar, performed my ritual and asked, what do I need to know? These are the cards that fell:

Akashic Records – Karmic Trench 4 of Scrolls Reversed:

It’s time to plant new seeds. You’ve fallen out of your karmic trench. A sudden change in your life will come as you sever other relationships. Allow what happened to knock you out of a karmic pattern you’ve been in too long. This is your opportunity to overturn lifetimes of sabatoging karma and time to create a new beginning.

Queen of Roses – Reversed

This card could portend a falling out with a female family member of friend. It represents stepping out of the role of wife or mother and asks to honor the grief. This is transformation time. Time to let go of those who don’t honor you. Time to make your own self-love a priority.

The card shows that he left his love to her and walked into the sunset. In a tailspin, her life went upside down as she went from wife to widow and searched from the love inside. Time to move on from old tribes for new ones. Queen of the tower of success awaits.

8 of Roses – Community Reversed

Time to realize it’s time to walk away from people who no longer serve you.

7 of Scrolls Reversed

Intricities and industry. Be careful not to act in haste. It’s time to bring in the joy now. Take baby steps. Your tiniest efforts will create extraordinary success.

1 of Scrolls – Ontrack

This is the time to choose a direction about a project, relationship, career, or even a move. Time to decide. Get on board to the direction that calls you. You are in the waiting room to prepare for your journey.

6 of Roses – War of the Roses

This card indicates a war with either someone or within your own heart.

Well, Wisdom, Mind – I asked spirit if my husband needed me to know anything.

You’re coming into a time of enormous power. You are working intimately and unknowingly with ascended masters on power and will, love and wisdom of mind. You can raise your higher power working with ascendants now. Take advantage of this time and use the power well. Divine forces are moving through you to help manifest your power.

Spring/Autumn Reversed – 4 of Forces

This is your harvest time where great abundance is coming to you. Focus on closure for loose ends before moving forward. Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Queen of Keys

This card could represent a possible argument with a female of authority. A loss of a relationship. Time to consider new aspirations. The Queen is ready to give you a step to a new life. She’s looking down from a tower. She has the authority on looking out for her own happiness, on her own now, she climbs the ladder of success.

I asked, what new life?

The Buddha Prepares – Reversed

The meditative phase is over. It’s time to prepare for action. You have the ability to influence others without your realizing. It’s time to move forward.

I asked, move forward where?

Diversity – 5 of Scrolls Reversed

You feel as though too many things going on yet not much has happened right now. Too many choices can cause hesitation. Time to make a choice and focus on one thing. Don’t be afraid to try something and find you don’t like it. You have many choices, just move on. Stop worrying about things that haven’t happened.

I asked if there was anything else I needed to know, from my Keeper of the Light Oracles Cards by Kyle Gray

Lord Ganesh – Infinite Abundance

You have spiritual support and obstacles are being removed. Ganesh is the Lord of removing obstacles. He helps people weave around hurdles. He will have a perfect path for you with his light.

Lord Shiva – Transcendance

Time to rise up, steps are there, time to dance. Lord Shiva is known as the destroyer because of his warrior-like energy and his ability to destroy fear. He offers support and guidance. He is a communicator between earth and the cosmos, here to help you move beyond fear and into clarity. Lord Shiva is with you now to award your sense of connection of life. You’re moving through a great transition and soon you’ll know what you want to do and where you need to be. You will transcend beyond any past limitation. Time to travel your soul. Lord shiva will lead the way.

~ ~ ~

This was a brief summarization of what became a lengthy reading. All in all, it leaves me with a good feeling about my new beginnings in the makings. This is what I would call a beautiful reading of possibilities that are opening up in my new life. For months, the cards were stagnant, just as my life seems to be. I feel that I must get out of my abode and explore what possibilities lie ahead for me. Certainly, these opportunities won’t be knocking at my door if I don’t make an effort to meet them. I hope doors will open for me once I get out of my environment and fly away somewhere else – perhaps to my upcoming winter getaway to Mexico!

Happy New Year

Wishing you all a Happy New Year! Time for us all to kick this year to the curb where it belongs and join the land of the living. 💖

November Oracle Reading – Native Spirit and Akashic Tarot

Welcome to my November Oracle Reading.

This post should have gone out earlier this week, but as I’m in the process of migrating my blog back to WordPress, all I can do so far is post here with no bells and whistles yet. But I wanted to see what happens with exposure by posting on this new blog, so I’m starting with my November reading – because it’s already December!

I’ve begun a practice where I read my Oracle cards once per month. I always find my messages spot on, coinciding with what is typically going on in my life at the time, helping to put things in perspective.

When I first became attracted to Oracle cards, I purchased cards that somewhat ‘spoke to me’. I say this because there are oodles of different types of Oracle cards available and how I chose which decks I wanted to work with was by how a various deck ‘jumped out’ at me. I currently own four different decks, and I’m usually drawn to using two of these decks in particular. For this reading I chose to use my Akashic Tarot set, oddly named Tarot.

I’d also like to note here that these are not Tarot cards, but Oracle cards with messages from Ascended Masters, Angels, Native Spirits, Goddesses, and from spirits of higher echelons up the ladder of spirits of wisdom, they are a tool to use for self-reflection. There is no set standard for pulling these cards. You can pull a card for daily inspiration, or you can set up a layout as you would with the Tarot, but the interpretations are different. You can ask the cards anything that is lingering in your mind.

My two favorite decks are: The Akashic Tarot by Sharon Anne Klingler and Sandra Anne Taylor – a deck of 62 cards which help to reveal hidden insight from the Akashic Records – “ designed to access the profound energy and unlimited information that make up the Akashic Records, which are great fields of wisdom and power that transcend time and space and are immediately available to all. “

My other favorite deck is the Native Spirt Oracle Cards by Denise Linn – “The Native Spirit Oracle Cards profoundly deepen your connection to the mysterious, natural forces around you.” This is a 44 card deck based on their birthing at the sacred mountain carrying the mystical energy that surrounds from their birthing.

Every Oracle deck comes with a guidebook to help interpret the messages.

My Reading:

I asked the cards as I shuffled with intention if they had any new messages for me from my husband. My beloved passed away a raw seven months ago and my grief is as overwhelming still as the day he left me and this earth. I typically like to do a spread of three cards and add cards as needed for extra clarity. This time, I had five cards drop simultaneously while shuffling, so I went with the five. Here’s what fell and my interpretation:

Three of Keys – The Chess Game – Reversed

This card symbolizes a conflict with family that has grown untenable and unlikely to change. (Spot on!) It’s time to walk away and disengage emotionally. Put those unhappy people behind you. By bringing them to an end, you’re creating new space for peace and more promise to your life. It’s your time for new beginnings. Pretend you’re on a chessboard and take a look around at the other players, gauge how you feel about them. ‘What do you want your next move to be?’ Clear out the old!

Three of Roses – Loving Elementals – Reversed

This card reversed reveals a split from your fun-loving child within and your union with the natural world. It’s time to find a joyful purpose by doing things that make you happy.

One of Roses – Commitment

A valuable union is at hand. A love of something or someone is returning. This could also mean new business opportunities are coming your way. This card is filled with light, indicating good things are in the offering. A female relative may be wanting to stir things up. Let go! You may have lost something, and you may be experiencing uncertainty about the future. Allow the Akashic Records to guide you.

The Lookout

Pay attention! There’s a challenging battle of sorts around you. Stay aware, don’t lose your footing, stand your ground. Your strength will carry you to a better time.

The Architect

You could find yourself renovating or redecorating. It is time now to step into your power. It’s time to recognize your strengths and talents and take charge!

Summation:

The cards send me guidance.

I asked if there were any messages from my husband. The messages received were quite accurate as to what is happening in my life now. The cards reiterated my family – or lack of – situation and recognizes the predicament I feel I’m living in right now. They reaffirm my decision to walk away from those who no longer serve me. And they remind me that I, hold the power. And good things are coming.

End Note:

Each deck or Oracle cards comes with a guidance book to look up the meaning of each card. With time and experience you can learn to interpret a deeper meaning by the order in which cards fall, the images, and in which direction they face relative to a card laid before or after it, and how the message applies to your own life. If you require more clarity you have only to draw another card and ask spirit to help clarify a card or situation, or perhaps use another favored deck to add to the completion of the story.

Note: I am in the process of moving my blog over from my ‘problemed’ self hosted site. Please bear with me as things on my blog may look wonky for a day or two until Colleen Chesebro and I get this mess figured out.

Sunday Book Review – Testimony of Light – An Extraordinary Message of Life After Death

Welcome to my Sunday Book Review. Today I’m sharing a recent read – Testimony of Light written by Helen Greaves, but the writing is all telepathically transmitted to Helen from her departed good friend and former nun, Frances Banks. Fascinating read on the spiritual life we encounter after we pass to the other side.

Blurb:

When Frances Banks died her friend Helen Greaves was by her side. Then, one evening, some three weeks after Frances’ death, Helen sensed her presence. This extraordinary encounter marked the beginning of contact between them from either side of the veil.

‘Testimony of Light’ is based on the communications that Helen received telepathically from Frances. The scripts have been authenticated by those who knew them both and who were familiar with their individual writing styles. Moving and inspiring, this book is a testament to the enduring power of their friendship and offers an important message to us all – that the death of the body is but a gentle passing to a much freer and fuller life.

‘Never have we read such a spontaneous, simple, direct, happy and instructive series of scripts from “the other side”‘ Science of Thought Review

‘A glass of spiritual champagne’ – Churches Fellowship News

My 5 Star Review:

The book was written in the late 1960s by Helen Greaves, who was a writer, not a practicing medium, who was purportedly translating the messages of her departed friend, a former nun, Frances Banks, who had passed a short while before the writing. Frances was communicating to her friend Helen through telepathic writing (channeled thoughts from Frances) from the next life. We are told that Frances had been encouraged by her group of souls to contact her friend Helen in order for her to document Frances’ experiences in a book for the benefit of those still residing on the earth plane, wanting to know more about the other side, and wanting to confirm that our soul and consciousness go with us.

I was particularly interested in the fact that Frances had for some 25 years, been a nun in a Christian order, but left after apparently finding the confines of organized religion  no longer satisfactory as she began her lifelong quest for studying spiritual truth.

Published in 1969, Helen Greaves received telepathically (not automatic writing) from her close friend, Sister Frances Banks who died in 1965. For those of us who are curious about the after world, I’d say that Banks’ sharing of life from another realm was a fascinating peek into the next world. The subject matter printed back in the 60s was well ahead of our times.

Sunday Movie Review – The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield

My Sunday Movie Review is for The Celestine Prophecy. This was a book recommended to me by a friend more than ten years ago, and I still never got to it. James Redfield wrote both, the book and the screenplay for this New Age fictional story about synchronocities that lead us to where we need to be and to the people we meet throughout life for reasons.

“Look not from the mind, but from the soul. For the life that is coming, is already before us, waiting to open the world. Just look more closely.” ~ from The First Insight

Storyline:

Disillusioned and temporarily rudderless, John Woodson is about to experience a dramatic and profound metamorphosis. Through a mysterious set of coincidences, he finds himself on an adventure to Peru in search of ancient scrolls, known as the Celestine Prophecy. The prophecy and its nine key insights, predict a new awakening that redefines human life and provides a glimpse into a completely spiritual culture on earth. Resistant at first, skeptical and unsure, John finds that each step he takes, each person he encounters leads him to a new awakening. It is only in this letting go that he finds his destiny and comes to understand the meaning that had escaped him when his adventure began.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0398842/

Some poignant quotes from reviewers:

“This film reminds me how to take care of my energy and be aware of others energies and the importance of being around places and people that are good for our souls. ”

“If for no other reason watching this movie can show how people can improve their lives by just how they treat each other.”

Blurb for the book:

The #1 bestselling phenomenon with millions of copies sold around the world — now with a guide to creating your own Celestine Prophecy experience.

You have never read a book like this before–a book that comes along once in a lifetime to change lives forever.

In the rain forests of Peru, an ancient manuscript has been discovered. Within its pages are 9 key insights into life itself — insights each human being is predicted to grasp sequentially; one insight, then another, as we move toward a completely spiritual culture on Earth.

Drawing on ancient wisdom, it tells you how to make connections among the events happening in your life right now and lets you see what is going to happen to you in the years to come. The story it tells is a gripping one of adventure and discovery, but it is also a guidebook that has the power to crystallize your perceptions of why you are where you are in life and to direct your steps with a new energy and optimism as you head into tomorrow.

Praise for The Celestine Prophecy
“A gripping adventure story filled with intrigue, suspense, and spiritual revelations.” – Commonwealth Journal

“A spiritual classic…a book to read and reread, to cherish, and to give to friends.” – Joan Borysenko, PhD, author of Fire in the Soul

“In his inimitable style of great storytelling, Redfield opens us up to a world of insight, inspiration, synchronicity, and power.” – Deepak Chopra

My 5 Star Review:

This book was originally written in 1993 and revised in 2006. John goes off to Peru and learns the way of the world from an ancient manuscript rumored to reveal the future of mankind. The energies we exchange with each other are the catalysts of what transforms human society.

Chaos in the world will change us and have us look at everything differently – a prediction for our modern times. John, newly fired from his teaching job, learns about the secret scrolls of Peru, and in a quest for knowledge, he goes there in search of a priest who knows about the scrolls, which have been stolen. There are many messages interwoven in this spiritual, fictional story. An insightful tale told through story encompassing, coincidence, how people we meet, even for an instant, seem to play an integral part of foreshadowing us into another event of life. Other insights on how opening ourselves enables us to receive, our purpose for being, staying alert to signs, how giving connects us in ways we never realized, and that things are not always as they seem.

This movie is inspirational and I think if everyone watched it, the world would be a better place.

Sunday #Bookreview – Plateau by Inspirational author Tina Frisco

Book reviews

Today I’m sharing my review of a wonderful and thought provoking book by Tina Frisco, Plateau, Beyond the Trees.

Tina is an author, singer/songwriter, RN, activist, and a student of Shamanism. Her writing is always full of compassion and offers insights to helping the world in justice, peace and harmony. Her first book, Plateau was written before the doomsday prophecies were to take place in 2012, which the Mayan calendar had predicted.

plateau-cover-5

Get this Book on Amazon!

Blurb:

The protagonist in Plateau is a 15-year-old tribal female who, through great adversity and while honoring the wisdom of her elders, discovers her strengths and destiny. Her will is relentlessly tested, daring her to face her fears and trust blindly without fully knowing why she was born the Keeper of the Crystal Heart, the key to the Great Mosaic of Life. She ultimately comes face-to-face with herself in a battle that would shrink the will of the most intrepid warrior, unaware that realizing her destiny will irrevocably impact all beings on earth and beyond. Her people inject humor and wisdom throughout this tale of mystery and adventure. Will love prevail over fear? Millions are asking this question. Plateau offers hope with its underlying message: We must keep our hearts open and act from love instead of reacting from fear; and we must practice gratitude and compassion within every moment and with every breath, so that we might help elevate the human species to a higher consciousness and facilitate both personal and global peace.

My Review: 5 Stars

Plateau is an imaginary world inhabited by a tribe called the E’ghali. This is a place where kindness prevails, where nature is honored, no technology exists, and where the people live in peace and live solely off the land. W’hyani is a young girl of 15, whose life we follow as she takes in her life lessons and demonstrates the power of love, wisdom, healing, and facing fears. As we become engrossed in W’hyani’s world, we too will be reminded about the value of natural resources, the importance of compassion and gain a sense of faith that all these elements factor into a better world. In the end, after W’yhani has found the meaning of the Crystal shard she carries with her and made to understand the Great Mosaic of Life, she will set forth for the outside world. We are left with hope, and wondering if she can spread her wisdom into the outside world. This is an inspirational read, beautifully written in storyline and prose.
