I’ve bookmarked the article on book cover design. Before year’s end, I will probably be making decisions about style, font, photos. This is so helpful, Debby!

Glad to help Marian. I try and filter out the most helpful links for writing and publishing. 🙂
Jacqui Murray
Good tips, Deb. I spent a long time looking for a conversion tool when I wanted to offer freebies of my book. Yours are helpful.

Great to hear Jacqui. I hope it’s helpful for others too. 🙂

I love those tips from Ruth Harris about breathing new life into that dusty manuscript in the drawer 😉 We all have one of those manuscripts! I’m glad you pointed out Jeri’s article as I found that one valuable too. Great roundup, Debby.

Oh fab Christy! Glad you found those 2 helpful. I like to pick out the ones I found most helpful from my week of reading posts on publishing. 🙂 xx

How amazing, Debby, to come across your post and the link to Anne’s article today. It answers my query to you on my blog post earlier. Life definitely works in mysterious ways.

That’s fabulous Robbie. Serendipity! 🙂

Great tips. I was especially interested in the conversion tools. The one I use wasn’t on the list so another one for authors to consider is Jutoh – inexpensive, easy to learn, and I’ve used it for years without a problem. 🙂

Thanks Diana. Just curious – which one do you use? 🙂 x

Nice tips!! I love having my books in epub (when I can’t seem to have them on physical).. Epub is awesome because with the ipad I can look up words or save phrases that I like directly into my notes app without having to leave the iBooks apps.
Thanks for sharing!
Terri Webster Schrandt

My pleasure Terri. Glad you found them useful. 🙂

Love these tips! I am a firm believer in not throwing away our writing because I think as we grow as writers, we have the ability to look at our old writing with a new perspective. Of course, for some of us, this means many, many, MANY filled notebooks in storage. 🙂
dgkaye
Lol Kate, I know well about those ‘many, many’ notebooks! 🙂

Thanks for the information. Oh, those saved manuscripts and notebooks full of short stories stacked on an upstairs bookcase and backed up a few times in computerland. I’m slowly working on a book about mythology and grief, but I’ve lost all sense of pressure about it. This summer, I’d rather raise Monarchs. Calm and beautiful in a chaotic world.

I can appreciate that Elaine. Life goes by too fast. Take in the butterflies and the calm. The writing will always be there but summer won’t 🙂 xx
