Wishing You All A Happy New Year!

Another year has come and gone and I can say with certainty it’s been quite a year on many fronts. I’m not one to ever wish the days to go faster, especially since looking back I honestly don’t know where the year went, but nonetheless, I’m happy to kiss it goodbye.

I want to wish you all a beautiful, happy, healthy and inspirational New Year. I feel blessed to be part of this beautiful blogging community and am grateful for the many friends I have made through blogging. And on that note, I’m also announcing my annual winter vacation blogging break. Yes, soon I’ll be heading to the beaches of beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I have a wonderful social calendar lined up for the first part of my break as some family and friends join me in PV. I also want to catch up on some serious reading while away, but I don’t anticipate doing much blogging, if any. But perhaps I’ll get back to writing my next book. Who knows, I’ll go where my inspiration takes me. I also won’t be spending my evenings on the computer reading blogs as I normally do as I really need a timeout. But I know I’ll be popping by sporadically on Facebook, and I’m sure to the odd blog when time permits.

So cheers 🥂 to you all! Thank you for your continued following of this blog, and please don’t forget to come back here when I do 😍. And you never know with me, I might just feel like posting something before I return, and if I do you’ll get your email notifications to let you know I have something to share.

I found this great list of resolutions. I’m sure there’s something for everyone here to choose from. I know more than a few of my own resolutions are listed.

    1. Thanks so much Sal. Perfect timing to drag myself away, especially after this cold? flu? and coughing my ribs and organs out of whack. Calgon take me away! LOL. Happy New Year Sal ❤ xoxo

  2. Happy New Year, Debby. I hope you’re still enjoying this festive time of the year. Enjoy your vacation and your blogging break. I’m glad to read how you intend taking your break from blogging. It’s been very quiet in the blogging world over the last few weeks and I’ve enjoyed my break away from it. In fact, it’s inspired the way I’ll be blogging when I go back to it from Wednesday.
See you when you get back.
    New Year hugs,
    Hugh

  7. Happy New Year, Deb! Back at ya, lady. I’m so delighted we’ve become blogging friends. And I seem to say this every year, but I would love nothing more than to meet in person with my favorite bloggers at a conference. One of these days, I’ll make it happen. Have a wonderful winter break in Mexico!! Thank you so much for the inspiration for 2019.

  11. Happy New Year dear Deb, although it isn’t far off the end of January…but you know me, better late than never, right? This year has started off for me crammed full of medical appointments for my youngest and my mother who had surgery just after Christmas (and even our new kitty bless) so I’ve been the proverbial headless chicken, hence my intermittent absence everywhere. I knew it would be this way for the first few weeks, so I’m trying hard not to get frustrated at not getting to my book edits (which I’m chomping at the bit to get to and just about there, phew!), never mind blogging. But I did want to wish you a most wonderful holiday and relaxing and refeshing respite and I sincerly hope you are most definitely taking a proper break away from the computer lol! I look forward to hearing all about it and hopefully I’ll also get back to the Summerhouse soon…still ringing in Christmas bells over there lol! Take good care my friend…have a blast see you when you get back 🙂 Lots of love and big hugs for a great year to come…ever the optimist, right?! 😀 ❤ xoxoxo

    1. Aw, thanks so much sweet friend. I know the beginning of the new year brings lots of little things to look after. I’ve been doing that long distance. I can’t stay completely away from the computer, lol, but I do check in in early mornings and evenings. It’s a beautiful and well needed timeout for sure! Thanks for the lovely wishes and I hope this year will be a smoother one for both us! Remember, one day at a time, don’t get overwhelmed! ❤ xoxo Hugs!

  12. Go for it! I hope you’re having a warm and wonderful time. You and the eastern Monarchs have the right idea about where to be in winter. As I’m sure you’re learning, it’s wild here. Enjoy the break. Because I blog only a few times a month now, it’s easier for me to imagine a break but harder to make it happen more than I already do. Meanwhile, I’m writing articles for submission and preparing for a workshop to keep my fingers and mind going on future projects. I wonder what will happen with no one to take care of now except myself and the possibility of hearing again. An adventure awaits me, but I have to stay put in the northeast to take it.

    1. Thank you Elaine. I’m enjoying every single day. Just what the doctor ordered! And the butterflies are beautiful!!!!!!!! I used to have a friend who called me an elusive butterfly – I suppose that’s why I too gravitated here. 🙂 Sending you positive light for your big happening soon with the implants. Looking forward to reading how well it went. 🙂 x
