  1. That Cash in Shoe Box Scam was indeed chilling. It is unbelievable what some crooks will do extract money from people. It was so cruel. I also liked the post on the new comment box.

    • I had not paid attention to the new features like the block features such as images, lists, etc.
    • I admit the final result is good. However, for a while there were a lot of problems with commenting on many blogs. I could not comment on a lot of blocks.
    • I am going to start using the comment features more extensively
    • I think I’ll insert a Leonberger just to test the new comment feature.
    • I better stop before I get annoying

  2. Good resources. However I am amazed by the typos and sentence clams the “experts” leave in their copy. Aline? I thought that was dress. Or a trailer company. Good info, though. I didn’t leave any rude commentary anywhere that could be traced back to you. Or anywhere at all🤣

    1. Lol, thanks Phil. But yes, I get it. I see it a lot too. Just like on Facebook where many memes have terrible grammar and punctuation. Most times it’s oversight, not editing first. 🙂

  3. Good stuff, Debby. The only one I had not read was the post by Anneli, which I rectified tonight. Thanks for always looking out for the writing community with these helpful posts.

    1. Hi Pete. Thanks so much, and glad you made it to Anneli’s post. Honestly, I read so many blogs and when I come across one I think would be helpful to someone else as it was for me, it makes it here to my monthly share. 🙂

  5. Jam packed with super info, thanks Debby.

I had already seen Dave Chesson’s post about fonts, and now I’m going to have to spend the time (when I have some free, ha ha) re-formatting some of my paperbacks. I used to use Garamond (free), but recently have used Times New Roman, because it reduces page numbers, being a bit more compact even though the type is the same size. Sigh…

    1. Hi Deb. Arg, I know when I read Dave’s article about using uncopyrighted fonts, I found it scary. One would expect if you’re using Word – and paying for it, that we shouldn’t have to worry about the fonts. Makes me happy that I don’t format my own books and my formatters use their own paid for fonts. 🙂 x

  6. I’m almost always on the lookout for more blogging tips, Deb. I just read a couple of Hugh’s. He is my go-to, so it is great to see him featured, and to see some other tips about different topics. Well done, my friend. 🙂
