#Sneakpreview – Cover Reveal – P.S. I Forgive You

After a long summer of being held captive in my little authorly world working on the upcoming publication of my newest book, P.S. I Forgive You, I am finally sharing the front cover of the book and the blurb.

 

I’m currently running through another round of my own proofreading after the final proof has come back from the editor. By week’s end it should be off to my NEW formatter, Jo Robinson to prepare the book for lift-off.

 

I’ll make no bones about it, this was a difficult book for me to write and have to re-read a gazillion times in the rewrite and editing stages. There were many times I had to walk away from it for a day because it was like reliving painful moments. But like an old quote says:  “You know you’ve healed when you can read your words and they no longer make you cry.” Truly, this book was therapeutic, and I hope readers can find some solace in their own lives in their own search for forgiveness.

 

So without further ado, I’d like to add this beautiful note my editor left for me after she finished editing. And the book cover and blurb follows:

  4. Congrats on getting close, Debby. Lovely cover – it goes perfectly with Conflicted Hearts. My own experience with forgiveness is that it took a long long time to completely get there – painful but so worth the work. Excellent blurb and Sally’s recommendation sounds wonderfully heartfelt 🙂

  13. I can relate so much to these thoughts of forgiveness, which was an arduous journey for me. Though in my heart I have forgiven all those who bullied and hurt me emotionally, the shadows keep creeping up occasionally, still keeping me awake for long hours.

    1. Thank you so much Sarah. I hope my words will be able to help others process their own unhealthy situations. The cover itself was a labor of love between me and my artist. I wanted to evoke the mood of the story, yet tie in the cover with the first book. 🙂 ❤

    1. Lol, thanks Elaine for the kudos. I worked the summer away to make up for the lost spring time when my hubby was ill. I’m thrilled you like the cover, as it took some time and lots of deliberation to choose something that related to Conflicted Hearts and got to the heart of the new book. I always have a bottle of champagne at the ready Elaine!
      Funny you say am I on the next book. I usually am before a book comes out, but I’ve been promising myself to take the year and explore marketing more, and new things writing, but I do already have journals going on 2 different books, so I’ll see where I’ll focus my energies. 🙂
