The #Bloganuary prompt challenges come in daily. I chose a few more to respond to below:
The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the prompt – What is your favorite photo you’ve ever taken? – My wedding picture.
I am my own worst critic when it comes to looking at myself in photos – old habits die hard. But my wedding pictures are with my husband, and we were both crazy about each other. Love never dies.

Next – If you could, what year would you time travel to and why?
Back to the 80s when life was carefree. When the only worries were where we we’re going to have fun, no digital apparatus, just real connections, relationships, breakups, parties – living, enjoying, and experiencing.
Also, What is your favorite quote and why?
‘What goes ’round comes back.’ – I have been saying this phrase for as long as I can remember. I relate it to Karma – what you give you get back, bad or good, so may as well make it good.
From the Merriam Webster Dictionary:
Definition of what goes around comes around
informal—used to say that if someone treats other people badly he or she will eventually be treated badly by someone elseYou should not mistreat them. What goes around comes around.
Remember these two things:
- Add the bloganuary tag to your post.
- Promote your blog post on social media, using the hashtag #bloganuary.

Lovely wedding photo, Debby! I also agree with what goes round comes back. I’d say the Seventies rather than the Eighties regarding being carefree though, as I had 2 little boys to look after in the Eighties. xx

Thanks Stevie. I would say 1978 was the year of my emancipation, so I’ll join you there. By 1980 my life was humming along beautifully. I resented the 90s because everything changed then. The many nightclubs I’d frequented for a decade, slowly all disappeared along with many things. That’s when life wasn’t the fun easy life feeling anymore. I felt more serious than carefree by 1990. 🙂 xx

I had the same emancipation in 1978! I left home and shared a flat with a work colleague. x

Beautiful photo Debby! I have to agree with you about which photo means the most my wedding photo does too, and the 80s. I sure had a lot of fun then too 🙂

Such a gorgeous photo of you both, Debby, and such a happy day. No wonder it’s your favourite. And I agree with you about a return to those carefree times of the past. If only we could capture some of them in our every day. We do our best. I’m sure all the good you do in the world will come back to you, Debby. Enjoy its rewards.

I have missed not being in WP as often.. Debby, but I am contented within my world of creations.. And gathering of like minds in our little community… Many now seeing the need to form groups to produce food, and other goods which are independent of mega stores… Times and ways are going to change, and we are all of us I feel being prompted one way or another to re-create ourselves and ways of being… Exciting times, once the dust has settled… But lots of dust has yet to be kicked up in the faces of some… And Karma is coming… LOL… 🙂 😉 Hugs dear friend xx

These sound interesting and so do your responses. Maybe I’ll make use of them in a blog post sometime in the future–as prompts but not part of the bloganuary thing. Too much going an for ordinary blogs let alone extras.

I hear you. That’s why I did three short ones in one post. They are motivating if just as an exercise. 🙂

Oh, Debby – your wedding photo is full of long and joyful harmony. You reminded me of my favourite passage from Adam Bede by George Eliot:
“What greater thing is there for two human souls, than to feel that they are joined for life–to strengthen each other in all labor, to rest on each other in all sorrow, to minister to each other in all pain, to be one with each other in silent unspeakable memories at the moment of the last parting?”

Hi Debby, your wedding photograph is lovely. I also believe in that same sentiment. The version I know is slightly different, What goes around, comes around.

I love your wedding picture and can see the attraction. I agree, the 80s were great, with big hair, big shoulders and big dreams coming true. I worked hard and played hard those days. They were my Calgary days. Such good memories.
